Abstract

Abstract- The aim of the research is to design a fish colony detection tool using a microcontroller-based sonar sensor. to implement the design of a fish colony detection tool using a microcontroller-based sonar sensor. Factorial Design Experiment In this research, the author will carry out an experiment directly by making a tool and testing the process input as well as the output and tool that will be made so that the implementation results are in accordance with what is expected during this research from the date of issuance of the research permit within 3 months, namely from March to May 2024. This tool is able to detect fish colonies with good accuracy, providing information about the presence and location of fish in real-time via LCD. The sonar sensor used is proven to work well in various water conditions, both in terms of depth and water clarity. The implementation of a microcontroller in this system shows that the microcontroller can be relied on to process data from sonar sensors and display the results quickly and efficiently.
